Liz'S Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/4 c. lukewarm water
    1 egg, beaten
    1 cake fresh or active dry yeast
    3 1/2 c. self-rising flour
Preparation
    Place shortening, salt and sugar into bowl; add water.
    Stir well.
    Stir in egg and yeast; add flour all at once.
    Beat with fork to make soft dough.
    Cover in a bowl; let rise for 1 1/2 hours.
    Roll out and put in pan and butter the top.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for about 15 minutes or brown.
    Yields about 20.
