Shoo-Fly Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. hot water
1/2 c. syrup (1/4 c. molasses and 1/4 c. corn syrup)
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter or shortening
1 1/2 c. flour
1 pie crust
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Beat soda into molasses mixture until light and foamy.
Add hot water and mix well.
