Fudge - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1 c. milk or cream
4 or 5 Tbsp. cocoa or 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
1 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Put sugar, milk and cocoa or chocolate into saucepan.
Stir and boil until it makes a soft ball when tested in cold water. Take from heat; add butter and vanilla.
Cool.
Stir until creamy.
Pour on buttered plate and cut into squares.
May be changed by omitting cocoa or chocolate and adding peanut butter with the butter and vanilla.
Also may add a teaspoon of peanut butter with the butter and vanilla in the chocolate mixture, making it creamier and a deliciously different flavor.
