Meat 'N Tater Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 envelope (3 Tbsp. dry onion soup mix)
    dash of allspice
    pastry for 2 crust pie
    1/2 c. milk
    dash of pepper
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes
Preparation
    Brown potatoes thoroughly.
    Line a 9-inch pie plate with pastry.
    Combine meat, milk, soup mix, pepper and allspice.
    Mix gently.
    Lightly pat into pastry-lined pie plate.
    Top with potatoes.
    Place top crust over potatoes.
    Seal with flute edges. Cut design in top of pastry.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until browned.
    Serve with warm catsup if desired.
