Butter Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    2 egg whites
Preparation
    Combine butter, sugar and milk in large saucepan; stir well. Place over medium heat and bring to a boil until soft ball stage. Stir constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Beat egg whites at room temperature until stiff peaks form.
    Continue to beat while slowly adding hot mixture.
    Beat until mixture cools and thickens.
