Hamburger-Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef or chicken
    1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. flour
    salt and pepper
    4 to 5 potatoes, sliced
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 qt. milk
Preparation
    Brown meat; add onion and cook 5 to 10 minutes.
    Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
    Add potatoes and cook until tender.
    Add milk.
    Bring to a boil and serve.
