Coconut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    4 eggs
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. sour cream
    2 c. sugar
    1 (9 oz.) pkg. coconut (frozen)
Preparation
    Mix well; spread between layers after cake has cooled.
