Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. self-rising corn meal
    1/4 c. self-rising flour
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 eggs
    1/2 lb. sharp cheese, grated
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. creamed corn
    1/4 c. oil
    1 tsp. crushed red pepper or hot banana pepper
Preparation
    Mix all but cheese.
    Pour 1/2 mixture in pan.
    Sprinkle with 1/2 of cheese.
    Pour remaining mixture on top and then add rest of cheese.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 until golden brown.
