White Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. white chocolate
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    4 egg yolks
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. cake flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    4 egg whites, beaten stiff
    1 c. chopped pecans or almonds
    1 c. flaked coconut
Preparation
    Melt chocolate in boiling water and set aside to cool.
    Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
    Add egg yolks 1 at a time, beating after each.
    Add chocolate and vanilla.
    Sift together flour and soda.
    Add alternately with buttermilk.
    Do not overmix.
    Fold in egg whites.
    Gently stir in nuts and coconut.
    Pour into 3 greased and floured round cake pans and bake at 350\u00b0.
    Cool and frost.
