Rocky Road Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. (1 c.) semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/3 c. butter or margarine
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. tiny marshmallows
Preparation
    In a heavy small saucepan heat and stir 1/2 cup of the chocolate pieces over low heat until melted.
    Remove from heat and cool slightly.
    Meanwhile, stir together flour and baking powder. In a small mixer bowl beat butter or margarine until softened. Add sugar and beat until well combined.
    Add eggs and vanilla and beat well.
    Beat in melted chocolate.
    Add flour mixture and beat until well mixed.
    Spread in a greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes.
    On baked base, layer remaining chocolate pieces, nuts and marshmallows.
    Bake 5 to 10 minutes more or until marshmallows are golden.
    Cool.
    Cut into bars.
    Makes 24.
