Venison Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. beef suet
    2 lb. ground venison
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 tsp. paprika
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. white pepper
    2 tsp. diced chili pods
Preparation
    Fry suet in heavy kettle.
    Add venison.
    Cook, stirring, until browned.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Add enough water to cover.
    Cook slowly for 4 to 5 hours, stirring occasionally, adding water as needed for desired consistency.
    Serve with pinto beans.
    Freezes well.
