Christmas Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg yolks, beaten
    3 Tbsp. water
    3 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. whipped cream
    3 c. miniature marshmallows
    2 c. halved green grapes
    1 (20 oz.) an pineapple tidbits, drained
    1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained
    1 (10 oz.) jar red maraschino cherries, drained and sliced
    1 c. chopped pecans
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    In large saucepan, combine egg yolks, water, vinegar and salt.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and reaches 160\u00b0.
    Remove from heat.
    Fold in whipped cream.
    In large bowl, combine remaining ingredients.
    Add dressing and toss to coat.
    Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours. Makes 12 to 14 servings.
