Mamie Eisenhower'S German Chocolate Candy - cooking recipe

4 c. sugar
pinch of salt
3 bars German chocolate
1 large jar Marshmallow Whip
2 Tbsp. butter
1 large can Carnation milk
1 large pkg. chocolate chips
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Boil sugar, milk, and salt on low heat for 6 minutes.
Pour German chocolate, chocolate chips, Marshmallow Whip and butter. Beat well.
(I use electric mixer.)
Add vanilla and chopped nuts. Pour into large greased pan or drop by spoonfuls on wax paper.
