Date Nut Roll - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. dates
1 egg or 2 yolks
1 tsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. sugar
milk
Preparation
-
Cut and soak dates overnight.
Stew until soft.
Add rest of ingredients to make consistency of pumpkin pie.
Pour in crust; add broken or cut nuts (pecans).
Bake at 350\u00b0 until firm, about 1/2 hour.
