Chinese Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. French-style green beans, drained
    1 c. peas, drained
    1 c. mixed Chinese vegetables, drained
    1 (8.5 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts
    1 1/2 c. chopped celery
    3 medium chopped onions
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 (4 oz.) can pimento
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Mix green beans, peas, vegetables, water chestnuts, celery, onions, green peppers and pimento and chill.
    Add sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper.
    This makes dressing.
    Mix well and pour over chilled vegetables.
