Soft Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. dark molasses
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. melted lard
2 tsp. soda
2 c. flour, sifted
ground ginger to taste
Preparation

Beat eggs together, add sugar.
Stir 1 teaspoon soda into molasses and 1 teaspoon soda into milk.
Mix all ingredients together.
Pour into greased and floured large oblong pan.
Bake in medium oven for 30 minutes.
