Sauerkraut Surprise Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. cocoa powder
    1 c. water
    1 c. drained sauerkraut
Preparation
    In large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light.
    Beat in eggs; add vanilla.
    Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, salt and cocoa powder.
    Add to cream mixture, alternating with water. Stir in sauerkraut.
    Pour into a floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
