Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour (plain)
    1 c. sweet milk
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 can pie filling (cherry, apple or peach)
Preparation
    Melt butter in baking dish; set aside, then mix sugar, flour, baking powder and sweet milk.
    Pour into melted butter dish.
    Add pie filling.
    Don't stir, just gently move pie filling into flour mix from side to side, very gently, and bake at 350\u00b0 until brown. I use glass baking dish (1 1/2-quart).
    Serves 6.
