Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick margarine
1/2 c. cooking oil
2 c. sugar
2 c. self-rising flour
5 egg yolks
5 egg whites, beaten stiff
1 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can coconut
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream margarine, oil and sugar.
Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each.
Add flour and soda, alternately with milk.
Fold in vanilla and egg whites.
Add coconut and nuts last, leaving a small amount of each for icing.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes or until done.
