Salmon Or Tuna Almondine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 envelopes Knox unflavored gelatin
    1/2 c. cold water
    1 c. boiling water
    2 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese softened
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. curry powder
    1/2 - 1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/3 c. green onion\tchopped
    1 7 oz. tin tuna or salmon drained and flaked
    1/2 c. sliced almonds - lightly toasted
    1/3 c. sliced almonds - lightly toasted (used for garnish)
Preparation
    In large bowl, sprinkle gelatin over cold water and let stand for 1 minute.
    Add boiling water and stir until gelatin is completely dissolved.
    With a wire whip or electric beater, blend in the cream cheese until smooth.
    Stir in lemon juice, curry powder, salt and pepper.
    Fold in green onion, pimientos, tuna or salmon and 1/2 c. almonds.\tTurn into a 5 1/2 c. mold or bowl and chill until firm.
    To serve unmold onto a platter, garnish with almonds, overlapping the slices to form scales and if desired garnish with green olives sliced or parsley.
