Sweet And Sour Meat Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. cold water
2 lb. ground beef
2 eggs
1 slice bread, moistened
1/2 c. seasoned bread crumbs
1 (10 oz.) jar grape jelly
1/2 c. catsup
1 bottle chili sauce
1 bottle water (see note)
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Mix meat with eggs, bread, bread crumbs, salt, pepper, catsup and 1/4 cup water.
Roll into 1-inch balls and brown in oil.
In a separate pan, melt jelly with chili sauce and water from chili bottle (see note).
Add browned meat balls to chili sauce.
Cook over low heat for 2 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
Serve over rice for a main dish or use as an appetizer.
May be frozen.
