Cauliflower Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bacon
    1 whole medium onion
    1 head cauliflower
    1 head lettuce
    2 c. mayonnaise
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Fry bacon; drain and crumble.
    Slice onion.
    Pull apart flowerets from cauliflower.
    Shred lettuce.
    Make 3 layers of onion, bacon, cauliflower and lettuce.
    Then mix together the mayonnaise, sugar and Parmesan cheese for dressing; spread over the top of the salad.
    Refrigerate for 24 hours before serving, then mix just prior to serving.
