Braised Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage
    2 c. chicken stock
    2 Tbsp. softened butter
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cut cabbage into pieces, removing tough inner core.
    In a covered pan, simmer cabbage in stock, about 20 minutes or until tender.
    Uncover and continue cooking until liquid boils away. Add butter, salt and pepper.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
