Cajun Dove Recipe - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 or 2 doves
    salt and pepper
    vegetable oil
    water
    juice of 1 lemon
    1/4 c. chopped parsley
    1 pod hot pepper
    1 large lump butter
Preparation
    Dry dove with paper towel and rub with salt and pepper.
    Heat 2 to 4 tablespoons oil (depending on number of doves) in pot and saute slowly until light brown.
    Add 2 to 3 cups water; cover with a tight lid and simmer until tender.
    Then add juice of 1 lemon, 1/4 cup chopped parsley, 1 pod of hot pepper and large lump of butter.
    Simmer another 15 minutes.
    Serve on toast.
