Toffee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. granulated sugar
    1/2 lb. margarine
    1 can evaporated milk
    1 lemon or lime
Preparation
    Heat sugar and butter in a pan until melted.
    Add milk, little by little.
    Move
    (stir)
    until
    it
    takes
    consistency (until it pulls away from
    the pan and spoon, hardball stage). Add 5 to 6 drops of lemon juice from fresh lemon.
    Pour into a greased pan (until set).
