Ingredients

1 pt. milk
2 egg yolks
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. sugar
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. coconut
Preparation

Heat milk in double boiler.
Mix sugar, salt and cornstarch and add to heated milk; stir.
Beat egg yolks; add to filling, stirring it well.
Add 1 tablespoon coconut, vanilla and 1 tablespoon butter as it thickens.
Pour into baked pie shell.
Let cool about 10 minutes.
