Crispy Onion Rings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large onions
    2 c. milk
    1 egg, beaten
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 c. flour
    1/2 c. corn meal
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Slice onions and separate into rings.
    Soak rings in milk for 30 minutes.
    Drain.
    Combine milk, egg and oil; mix well.
    Stir in dry ingredients.
    Dip rings in batter and fry in hot (365\u00b0) deep oil until golden.
