Chuck Wagon Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 c. chopped onion
2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
dash of pepper
1 Tbsp. shortening
1 can tomato soup
2 (1 lb.) cans kidney beans
1 small can mushrooms
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. vinegar
Preparation

Cook the beef, onion and seasonings until meat is browned. Add remaining ingredients.
Cover and cook over low heat for 30 minutes.
(My kids love this over spaghetti.
We top it with some shredded Cheddar cheese.
Anna brought the recipe home when she was in the first grade and reading about cowboys!)
