Sweet Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 46-oz. jar (1 qt. - 14-oz.) Home Style dill pickles
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. white vinegar
1 tsp. each of allspice and cinnamon
Preparation

Pour juice out of the jar of pickles and rinse them well.
Cut the pickles into chunks and put them back in the jar.
In a saucepan, combine the sugar, vinegar and spices and bring mixture to a boil.
Boil until the sugar is completely dissolved.
COOL completely (very important). Pour the cool liquid over the pickles in the jar and put the lid on.
Turn the jar upside down and put it in your refrigerator overnight.
In the morning, turn the jar right side up and and push the sugar that has gathered at the top down into the juice.
Sweet pickles are now ready to eat.
