Cranberry Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. fresh cranberries
    1 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 Tbsp. grated orange rind
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. melted fat
Preparation
    Chop cranberries; mix with 1/4 cup sugar.
    Sift together remaining sugar and dry ingredients.
    Add nuts and orange rind. Combine egg, milk and melted fat with dry ingredients.
    Fold in cranberries.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
