Beef And Rice Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
    1/2 c. uncooked long grain rice
    1 c. chopped celery
    2 Tbsp. green pepper
    1 envelope dry onion soup
    3 beef bouillon cubes
    1/2 tsp. crushed basil leaves
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, brown meat and drain off fat.
    Stir in 4 cups of water, 1 teaspoon of salt and remaining ingredients. Bring to boiling.
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer 20 minutes.
    Stir occasionally.
    Serves 8.
