Egg Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. sweet milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 stick butter
    1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
    nutmeg
Preparation
    Beat 6 whole eggs until fluffy; add 1 cup sugar.
    Beat well. Add 2 cups milk and the vanilla.
    Chip 1/4 stick butter; mix thoroughly.
    Pour in unbaked 9-inch pastry shell.
    Sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 about 20 minutes, then turn back to 325\u00b0. Bake about 20 to 25 minutes or until firm.
