Pecan Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 oz. cream cheese
    1 c. flour
    1/2 c. softened butter or oleo
    1 egg
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. Karo syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
    1 Tbsp. soft butter
    2/3 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix first 3 ingredients well.
    Roll in one inch diameter logs. Wrap in plastic wrap.
    Chill well.
    Beat egg, salt, sugar and butter until smooth.
    Add vanilla.
    Use miniature nonstick muffin pans (makes 24).
    Slice chilled dough stick into 1/4 inch slices. Press into muffin cups.
    Add filling by teaspoon.
    Sprinkle in the nuts.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 about 25 minutes.
