Bow Tie Pasta With Sausage, Tomatoes And Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 lb. sweet Italian sausage, casings removed and crumbled
    1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
    1/2 c. diced onion
    3 garlic cloves, minced
    1 (28 oz.) can Italian plum tomatoes, drained and coarsely chopped
    1 1/2 c. heavy cream
    12 oz. bow tie pasta
    parsley (optional)
    Parmesan cheese (optional)
Preparation
    Heat oil in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat.
    Add sausage and pepper flakes and cook for 7 minutes, breaking up sausage while doing so.
    Add onion and garlic and cook 7 more minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Add tomatoes and cream and simmer over low heat for about 4 minutes.
