New England Injun' Puddin' - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1/4 c. dark molasses
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. yellow corn meal
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Heat 2 cups of milk.
    Add molasses, sugar, corn meal, salt, spices and butter.
    Cook 20 minutes or until the mixture thickens. Pour into baking dish.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Do not stir. Bake at 300\u00b0.
    Serve with whipped cream, ice cream or hard sauce.
