Divinity Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. water
    3/4 c. white Karo syrup
    2 egg whites
    3/4 c. pecans, chopped fine
Preparation
    Mix first three ingredients in a 2-quart saucepan.
    Cook until it forms a hard ball in cold water, then fold in egg whites until it gets thick.
    Add pecans and pour into a baking pan.
    When cool, cut into squares.
