Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup milk
    2 cups sugar
    1/4 tsp cream of tartar
    1 tsp vanilla
    1/2 cup peanut butter
    1 tbsp butter
Preparation
    Mix first four ingredients in a heavy skillet and cook until it reaches soft ball stage; then add peanut butter and butter. Remove from heat and beat by hand until it starts to thicken. Pour onto a buttered platter.
    Chill and cut.
