Chocolate Chunk Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 oz. butter (soft)
    1/3 c. white sugar
    1/3 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    pinch of salt
    1/2 c. toasted oatmeal*
    6 oz. dark, semi-sweet chocolate chunks
    1 c. roasted pecans (optional)
Preparation
    *To toast:
    Spread onto shallow pan and toast at 350\u00b0, just until oatmeal begins to change color, 5 to 10 minutes.
    Watch closely.
