Chocolate Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter or margarine
    12 large marshmallows or 1 1/2 c. miniature
    1 c. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Mix in a heavy 2-quart buttered saucepan, sugar, butter, milk, marshmallows and salt.
    Cook over medium heat (stir constantly) until it comes to a full boil.
    Continue cooking and stirring for 5 minutes.
    Take off heat.
    Stir in chocolate chips, nuts and vanilla.
    Spread in a buttered 8-inch square pan.
