Heavenly Seven-Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. shredded lettuce
    2 c. chopped tomatoes
    2 c. mushroom slices
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. Birds Eye peas, thawed and drained
    1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Kraft natural mild Cheddar cheese
    1 c. red onion rings
    2 c. Miracle Whip or light Miracle Whip dressing
    bacon bits (are optional)
    3 thumbs ginger root, diced or shredded
    1 head garlic, finely diced or 4 oz. jar (approximately) diced garlic
    1 qt. sake
    1 qt. pineapple juice
    1 gal. Kikkoman soy sauce
    1 qt. teriyaki sauce
    1 c. brown sugar (optional)
    1 c. white sugar (optional)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together in a large container (an old cooler works great).
    Place roasts, steaks, etc., in cooler and marinate for 12 to 24 hours, prior to cooking.
