Bacon Potato Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 slices bacon, cut into small pieces
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped carrot
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 cans (14 1/2 oz.) chicken broth
1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) pkg. shredded hash browns
1 c. milk
Preparation

Cook bacon in large saucepan over medium heat until crisp. Add onion and carrots. Cook and stir 3 minutes. Add flour; cook and stir until smooth. Stir in broth. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Add hash browns; reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer 6 to 8 minutes or until potatoes are tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in milk; cook 2 to 3 minutes or until thoroughly heated. (Do Not Boil.)
