1 (9-inch) baked and cooled pie crust
1 pt. softened vanilla ice cream (just example)
1 pt. softened coffee ice cream (just example)
8 egg whites
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. sugar
Preparation

Spread vanilla ice cream on pie crust.
Spread the coffee on top.
Freeze until hard (about 2 hours).
Beat egg whites with vanilla and cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
Gradually add sugar, beating until soft and glossy.
Spread meringue over ice cream to edges of pastry.
Broil 30 seconds to 1 minute until meringue is browned.
Drizzle chocolate sauce over each.
