Lorraine'S Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs, beaten
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    6 c. milk
    4 c. cream or evaporated milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Do beat eggs in a heavy large pan.
    After well beaten, gradually add sugar while continuing to beat.
    Beat until light (a while).
    Add 6 cups of milk.
    Cook until boils.
    Add cream after you pour mixture into ice cream mixer.
    Add vanilla and salt.
    Let cool by standing in cool water.
    Freeze.
