Cherry Cheese Charmer - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. cherry jello
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    2 c. hot water
    2 c. cherry juice
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    2 c. pitted Bing cherries, drained
Preparation
    Dissolve jello and sugar in hot water.
    Add lemon and cherry juice.
    Pour 1 1/2 cups of jello mixture into a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex and chill until firm.
    Mash cream cheese; add small amount of remaining jello and blend.
    Chill remaining jello mixture until slightly thickened.
    Whip, then add cream cheese mixture, gradually blending with beater.
    Add cherries.
    Pour over firm jello and chill.
