Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 frying chicken
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. cooking oil
water
Preparation

Cook fryer until tender.
Remove chicken from broth and debone it.
Reserve broth for dumplings.
Mix flour with salt and cooking oil.
Add enough water to form a ball.
Place on floured surface and knead until just stiff enough to handle easily when rolled thin.
Sprinkle with black pepper and roll once more.
Cut into strips.
Drop dumplings one at a time into gently boiling broth and cook until tender.
