Marinara Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans (16 oz.) Italian peeled tomatoes
    1 garlic clove, peeled
    2 Tbsp. Italian olive oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. dry sweet basil
    pepper to taste
    2 Tbsp. olive oil or vegetable oil
Preparation
    Saute
    garlic
    in
    oil\tuntil brown; then discard.
    Add tomatoes,
    salt, pepper and basil.\tSimmer until well blended. (Medium
    heat,
    about 12 minutes.) Cook until all the water is gone.
