Martha'S 5 Minute Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. sugar
    1 c. Pet milk
    16 large marshmallows
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Mix ingredients in a heavy saucepan, stirring constantly over medium heat to a boil. Mix will bubble on top.
    Boil and stir 5 minutes more.
    Move off heat.
    Stir in chocolate pieces and vanilla (pecans, optional).
    Spread in a buttered 8-inch square pan.
    Cool and cut into 30 pieces.
