1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. red pepper (optional)
1 beaten egg
3/4 c. milk
1/3 c. oil
6 strips bacon, crisp, drained and crumbled (1/3 c.)
