Quick Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2/3 to 1 c. milk
1 qt. sliced fresh or 2 large cans peaches
Preparation

Melt butter in 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
Combine sugar, flour, baking powder and milk in mixing bowl.
Mix well.
Arrange peach slices evenly in bottom of baking pan.
Pour melted butter over sugar mixture.
Do not stir.
Pour sugar mixture over top of peaches in the pan.
You may also sprinkle your favorite spices, like cinnamon or allspice, over the peaches before pouring the sugar mixture.
