Beef Parmigiana - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. cubed steak (6 pieces)
    1/3 c. fine dry bread crumbs
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1 egg, well beaten
    2 to 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 medium chopped onion
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    salt and pepper
    sliced or grated Mozzarella cheese
Preparation
    Combine bread crumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.
    Dip steak in egg, then in bread crumb mixture.
    Brown steak in oil.
    Remove from skillet; put in lightly greased baking dish.
    Add onion to pan drippings; saute until done.
    Add tomato paste, water and spices.
    Bring to boil; cook, uncovered, for 5 minutes, then pour mixture over steak.
    Cover with foil; bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes. Top with cheese and put back in oven until cheese melts.
